Tessa Philip, BSc (Kin)
A graduate from the University of Waterloo, Tessa has a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology. She is also a registered member of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology. As a Registered Kinesiologist and Certified Exercise Physiologist, Tessa specializes in the assessment and enhancement of human movement and performance.
Tessa has had the opportunity to work in both the public and private sectors in the
areas of community health, rehabilitation and public service. She brings experience in cross fit training, exercise programming as well as cardiac and cancer rehabilitation.
Career highlights include time spent with the Ontario Police College physically training police recruits for physical readiness and volunteering on a medical mission in Costa Rica gaining experience in tropical medicine and pharmacology while providing medical triage to remote impoverished areas.
Through exercise prescription and management, Tessa aims to help people achieve
improvements in health, fitness and performance.
